Axios is the hospitality operating and asset management advisory platform that oversees The Blackstone Group’s hospitality investments in Europe and Asia. This role includes proactive asset management in conjunction with the third party managed hotels’ management teams as well as providing design direction, construction and project management expertise for significant capital projects and renovation. Axios also has the in-house expertise to manage hospitality companies.
The primary goal of Axios is to enhance the value of the hospitality properties under its supervision through strategic renovations and property repositioning as well as through improved operations and sophisticated capital planning.
Currently Axios provides asset management and hospitality advisory services to a portfolio of hotels across Europe comprising 109 properties (21,000 rooms). Properties range from 2 star budget hotels to upscale and luxury hotels. Within the Axios portfolio several hotel brands/flags are represented including hotel brands from companies like Starwood, Intercontinental, Marriott, Fairmont, Louvre Hotels, Accor, Hyatt, Rezidor, Maritim, etc.
